Important Notice Regarding Data Storage:
Simple Collection App operates as an offline-first application. All data regarding collections, amounts, and receipts is stored locally on your specific device. We do not store your data on external servers. If you uninstall the application or clear the application data, all your records will be permanently lost unless you have performed a manual backup/export.

Information We Collect

Since the App operates locally, we do not transmit your personal data to our servers. However, the App processes the following data on your device:

Collection & Transaction Data

To generate receipts and track collections, you may input:

Customer/Payer Details: Names or identifiers of the people you collect amounts from.
Financial Data: Collection amounts, dates, and payment remarks.
Receipt Details: Notes or descriptions added to the generated receipts.

Device & Technical Information

Storage Permissions: Used to save generated PDF receipts or backup files to your device.
Device Identifiers: Standard device information used by operating systems for app stability.

How We Use Your Information

The information processed by the App is used solely for the following purposes:

Receipt Generation: To calculate totals and create digital receipts (PDF/Image) for your records.
Collection Tracking: To maintain a history of amounts collected on your local device.
Sharing Functionality: To enable you to share receipts via third-party apps (WhatsApp, Email, etc.) installed on your device.
Printing: To send receipt data to connected printers.

Data Storage, Backup, and Deletion

Local Storage Only

All data entered into Simple Collection App is stored in a local database (e.g., SQLite/Hive) directly on your mobile device. We do not have access to this data, nor do we sync it to a cloud server automatically.

Data Backup

Because data is local, it is your responsibility to safeguard it. We provide a Manual Backup/Export option in the Collections Screen. We strongly recommend that you regularly export your data to an external location (such as your email or cloud storage) to prevent data loss.

Data Loss Warning

Uninstalling the application will result in the immediate and permanent deletion of all app data. Please ensure you have exported your important collection data before uninstalling the App or switching devices.

Third-Party Services

While the App functions locally, we use standard Flutter packages and third-party services for specific functionalities:

Functionality Libraries

PDF Generation: Used to convert your collection data into shareable documents.
Share Plus: Used to open the native sharing dialog on your device so you can send receipts to others.
Permission Handler: Used to request necessary access to your device's storage.

Analytics & Advertising (If Applicable)

(Note: Even if you don't use ads now, standard Play Store apps usually include the following. You can remove this section if the app is strictly ad-free and has no analytics.)

Google Play Services: Required for core app functionality and updates.
Google AdMob: If the app displays ads, AdMob may collect anonymous data to serve relevant advertisements.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to outside parties because we do not have access to it.

However, you may choose to share data voluntarily by:

Sharing a receipt PDF or image via email or messaging apps.
Exporting your collection data file to another service.

Your Choices

You have full control over your data:

Access: You can view all your data within the App screens.
Export: You can download/export your data via the Collections Screen.
Delete: You can delete specific entries within the app or uninstall the app to delete all data.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

Permissions Used

Storage (Read/Write): Required to save exported data and generated receipts to your phone.
Internet: Required only for loading external resources or displaying ads (if applicable).
