This Privacy Policy describes how Simple Collection App ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application on Android phones and tablets and on Apple iPhone and iPad (together, your "device"). The app is built with the Flutter framework. We respect your privacy and are committed to transparency regarding how your data is handled. By using the App, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy.
Important Notice Regarding Data Storage:
Simple Collection App operates as an offline-first application. All data regarding collections, amounts, and receipts is stored locally on your specific device (Android, iPhone, or iPad). We do not store your data on external servers. If you uninstall or delete the app, or clear the app's data/storage, all your records will be permanently lost unless you have performed a manual backup/export.
Information We Collect
Since the App operates locally, we do not transmit your personal data to our servers. However, the App processes the following data on your device:
Collection & Transaction Data
To generate receipts and track collections, you may input:
- Customer/Payer Details: Names or identifiers of the people you collect amounts from.
- Financial Data: Collection amounts, dates, and payment remarks.
- Receipt Details: Notes or descriptions added to the generated receipts.
Device & Technical Information
- Files & media (Android): Used to save generated PDF receipts, exports, and backups to your device storage where the system allows.
- Photos & documents (iOS): On iPhone and iPad, the app may access your photo library or save files through the system file picker and share sheet, consistent with how you choose to export or attach content.
- Device identifiers: Standard device and OS information used by Android, iOS, and any integrated SDKs for app stability, updates, and (if enabled) advertising measurement.
How We Use Your Information
The information processed by the App is used solely for the following purposes:
- Receipt Generation: To calculate totals and create digital receipts (PDF/Image) for your records.
- Collection Tracking: To maintain a history of amounts collected on your local device.
- Sharing: To enable you to share receipts via your device's share options (for example messaging, email, AirDrop on Apple devices, or other apps you have installed).
- Printing: To send receipt data to connected printers.
Data Storage, Backup, and Deletion
Local Storage Only
All data entered into Simple Collection App is stored in a local database (e.g., SQLite/Hive) directly on your mobile device. We do not have access to this data, nor do we sync it to a cloud server automatically.
Data Backup
Because data is local, it is your responsibility to safeguard it. We provide a Manual Backup/Export option in the Collections Screen. We strongly recommend that you regularly export your data to an external location (such as your email or cloud storage) to prevent data loss.
Data Loss Warning
Removing the app from your device (uninstall on Android, or deleting the app on iPhone/iPad) will permanently delete all app data stored on that device. Please export your important collection data before you uninstall, delete the app, replace your phone or tablet, or erase the device.
Third-Party Services
While the App functions locally, we use standard Flutter packages and third-party services for specific functionalities:
Functionality Libraries
- PDF Generation: Used to convert your collection data into shareable documents.
- Share Plus: Used to open the native sharing dialog on your device so you can send receipts to others.
- Permission Handler: Used to request system permissions your platform requires (for example storage on Android, or camera, microphone, and photo library on iOS).
Analytics & advertising
- Android (Google): On Android devices, Google Play services may be used for distribution, updates, and platform features. If the app shows ads, Google AdMob may process data according to Google's policies to deliver and measure ads.
- iOS & iPadOS (Apple): On iPhone and iPad, the app is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple provides system services for updates, security, and optional features. If the app shows ads, ad networks (such as Google AdMob) may process limited data for ad delivery and measurement; Apple may also apply privacy features such as App Tracking Transparency where applicable.

Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to outside parties because we do not have access to it.
However, you may choose to share data voluntarily by:
- Sharing a receipt PDF or image via email or messaging apps.
- Exporting your collection data file to another service.
Your Choices
You have full control over your data:
- Access: You can view all your data within the App screens.
- Export: You can download/export your data via the Collections Screen.
- Delete: You can delete specific entries within the app, or remove the app from your device (uninstall on Android, delete on iPhone/iPad) to delete all locally stored data.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
Permissions & sensitive features
What the system asks for depends on your platform and what you choose to do in the app.
Android
- Storage / photos: To save exported data, generated receipts (PDF/images), and backups, and to read images when you attach them.
- Internet: For loading external resources and for ads or related services when applicable.
- Bluetooth (and related location access where required by Android for Bluetooth scanning): To discover and connect to supported printers.
- Microphone: For optional voice commands.
- Camera: To take photos you attach to collection entries.
iPhone & iPad (iOS / iPadOS)
- Photo Library: To attach images to collection entries and to work with images you choose when exporting or sharing.
- Camera: To take photos you attach to collection entries.
- Bluetooth: To connect to supported thermal printers for receipt printing.
- Microphone: For optional voice commands.
- Speech recognition: To convert voice input into text when you use voice entry.
- Network access: The app may use your network connection for ads, policy links opened in the browser, or other online features you trigger (for example, sharing).
